Taking place between the events of Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel (beginning in 06:29 hours on January 1st 2197) follows a division of the West-Coast Brotherhood of Steel dispatched to the middle and eastern parts of the Wasteland that is the former USA. Personally speaking I find the likelihood of the two in tactics and 3 being the same model as very slim if not entirely unlikely. However, fallout new vegas shows the "Enclave Remnants Power Armor" which is identical to the X-01 models, which is why it's labeled thusly. Additionally, while the Fallout 3 Enclave Power Armor is never officially identified as the X-01 armor, most fallout fans often consider it to be the same and merely sum up the differences as stylistic choices. Baring in mind that I know it's a decade or so difference design-wise between Tactics and 3.
